A side slope from a roadway ended at the fence line of a private property on this project; so long-term vegetation to prevent possible erosion was a necessity.

Nevis, Minnesota Project

A residential house had been built and there was a significant hillside that had been removed to provide space for a driveway. After the excavation of the site, the homeowner had a slope that was composed of very fine sands that needed to be stabilized. The slope was so unstable and steep that traditional methods of placing topsoil were difficult to utilize.

Grand Parkway is a large scale project for the creation of another loop around the Houston, TX metro area. Previous segments of the project had significant issues establishing successful vegetation, resulting in erosion problems for the project.

Milner Ridge

This project for a provincial medium-security jail called for two waste water treatment ponds, with 70,000 m2 (83,719 sy) of slopes and channels to install and protect. The project location had incredibly sandy and erodible soils due to the area being a sand deposit from Lake Agassiz that was created during the last ice age.

Papillion Road Project

This City park project was a re-channelization of a drainage swale designed by Thompson Dreessen & Dorner, Inc, of Omaha, NE. The channel was needed to mitigate an existing roadside ditch that the Corps of Engineers claimed as a jurisdictional waterway.
